Pineapple Hibiscus Tea
We are back with another recipe. This hibiscus and pineapple recipe is both refreshing and sweet. Hibiscus tea also has some amazing health benefits such as lowering inflammation, boosting hair growth and aiding weight loss. Hibiscus tea can be consumed either as iced tea or a warm calming drink.
Pineapple Hibiscus Tea
Preparation time: 10 mins | Level: Easy | Serving: 2 persons
A great refreshing tropical tea for the summer.
Ingredients
- 300ml of pineapple juice ( freshly juiced or store bought)
- 200ml of hibiscus tea
- Honey
Instructions
- Add water hot water and place hibiscus leaves in a tea strainer
- Allow to strain for 20 minutes.
- Allow the hibiscus tea to cool down
- Add the pineapple juice
- Add honey for your desired taste
- Add a large handful of ice cubes (optional )
- Place the jar/jug into the fridge to completely chill for 3-4 hours

- Pregnant women- if you are pregnant we do not suggest drinking this tea because it can lower blood pressure. It may also stimulate menstruation and bleeding.
- May interfere with some medicine- for example hibiscus may decrease blood sugar levels, and medicines may need adjustment.
